Sheryl Davis Matthews
Paralegal | Office Manager
With over 14 years of experience in the legal field, Sheryl supports the firm’s attorneys in the preparation and management of criminal cases from intake through resolution. She assists with client communication, organizes and reviews discovery, prepares motions and court documents, and helps oversee the daily operations of the office to ensure matters move forward efficiently and on schedule.
Born and raised in Kinston, she brings a strong understanding of the local community and court system to her work. Family is central to her life, and that perspective shapes the care and responsibility she brings to each case.
She is known for being organized, dependable, and consistent in her work, helping keep cases moving efficiently while supporting clients through a difficult process.
Camille Celecio
Legal Assistant
Camille provides comprehensive support to the firm’s Social Security Disability and Personal Injury practice. She manages a wide range of responsibilities, including maintaining consistent communication with clients, coordinating and reviewing medical records from healthcare providers, monitoring case progress, and assisting in the preparation of legal documentation and filings.
Experienced in handling Social Security Disability claims, she ensures that medical evidence, client statements, and case files are thoroughly organized and accurately documented. She plays a key role in supporting attorneys by facilitating communication between clients, medical providers, and the legal team, helping to streamline case management and meet critical deadlines. Committed to delivering meticulous attention to detail, she enhances the efficiency of the firm’s operations and contributes to positive outcomes for clients.
Heather Wentz
Legal Assistant
Heather brings more than 27 years of administrative experience, including 16 years in the legal field. She provides comprehensive support to the firm’s attorneys in the management and coordination of cases, helping ensure matters are handled efficiently and with careful attention to detail. Her strong organizational skills and professionalism contribute to the smooth operation of the office and the effective handling of client matters.
Heather is a commissioned Notary Public. Through her extensive experience working alongside attorneys, she has developed a thorough understanding of court procedures, client communication, and the importance of confidentiality and professionalism in the legal profession. Known for her reliability and dedication, Heather is committed to supporting both the firm and its clients with consistency, discretion, and care.
Yash Jain
Paralegal
Yash is a seasoned paralegal at Amos Law Firm, with over five years of experience supporting attorneys in personal injury and Social Security disability matters.
In personal injury matters, Yash assists with comprehensive case management, including medical record analysis, preparation of demand packages, review of billing documentation, lien evaluation, and coordination with providers and insurance carriers. In Social Security disability cases, he supports the preparation of medical summaries, pre-hearing briefs, Listing-level arguments, and evidentiary documentation to strengthen clients’ claims.
He plays an integral role in case development, legal research, drafting, and client coordination, assisting in building well-supported and strategically structured claims. Yash is known for his detail-oriented approach, analytical mindset, and structured case management skills.
